Yes, our office is open 365 days per year. KMH believes that having the ability to speak to a staff member on weekends and holidays gives clients and family members the best experience possible. Without her assistance our mother would have already been moved to a much more restrictive level of care. She does not want to leave her Independent Living apartment. The caregiver has been pro-active in identifying changes to the apartment that have resulted in a safer, more easily navigated environment. She has communicated with me as necessary and we have worked together to make my mother’s situation as stable as possible. She is patient, warm, and provides my mother with emotional as well as physical support. The services provided have been much more extensive than we anticipated.
